#1 The STATUE OF UNITY is 182m tall and in October 2018 it became the tallest Statue in the world.
#2 The statue is situated at a 3 story base.
#3The statue is designed to resist the wind velocity of more than 60m/s apart from the wind. the statue can also withstand vibration and earthquakes up to 6.5 on the Richter scale.
#4 5,700 tonnes of structural steel 25,000 tonnes of iron and 90,000 tonnes of cement have been used in this statue. 1850 tonnes of bronze cladding is also used for 565 macro and 6,000 macro panels.
#5 Government of India spent rs2989 crore to build this statue.
#6 The statue of unity is built on Sadhu island in the Narmada river and about 3.2 km away from the Sardar Sarovar dam this island will be approached by a four-lane highway.
